The Marble arch was located in the Pensby Av/ Ellesmere Av/ Kirby Close area. This c1954 photograph show Olive Fox and daughter Jennifer sitting on the much reduced arch. It stood some 10foot high in the late 1940s as an arch but pieces have since been taken for garden rocks etc.
