Rules governing all work for display .....

Work for display (apart from very fragile or large items) must be submitted between 10 a.m. and 12 noon on Friday 1st April 2005 at Upton Village Hall. Fragile or large items may be brought to the hall between 9.00 a.m. and 9.30 a.m. on Sunday 3rd April. Exhibitors MUST COLLECT their work between 12.30 and 2 p.m. on Sunday 3rd April unless other arrangements are agreed with the organisers well in advance.

We welcome work from artists of all ages and abilities, from individuals and members of groups, from students at all levels – school and beyond. There is no charge for submitting items for display.

We reserve the right to reject any work which we deem to be inappropriate for a family audience.

We accept no responsibility whatsoever for theft of or damage to work submitted for display. Exhibitors may arrange their own insurance.

All work submitted must be clearly labelled with the name, address and telephone number of the exhibitor, and the title of the piece where appropriate.

Creative Writing (Poetry and Prose) texts should either be printed using a VERY LARGE print, so that it can be displayed on the walls and read from a distance, and/or in normal size print protected by A4 “poly pockets” so that the text can be picked up and read.

Paintings and Drawings should be MOUNTED; there is no need for paintings or drawings to be framed especially for this exhibition (although framed items will be accepted).
